As agencies work to address digital privacy, each week seems to bring a new wave of privacy-related bombshells. It’s challenging to assemble a constant stream of new puzzle pieces into a coherent picture of what’s happening. But that picture does exist.

By examining events and trends of the past few years, looking at changes that are actively in-process (e.g., the scheduled deprecation of third-party cookies), and extrapolating a few second- and third-order effects, it’s possible to build a forward-looking picture of digital privacy that provides a sound basis for decision-making and risk mitigation, both for agencies and their clients.
